The idea struck me like lightning while smoking a cuban cigar on the balcony: I have to create something eternal that shows my deep and passionate respect towards Cuban culture and society. The use of original cuban peso, cuban newspapers and tobacco leafs gives the authentical feeling and makes the artwork extraordinary and inimitable. The intensive, impulsive yet warming orange color represents splendor and rejoice, nevertheless reminds us of the bloody past which made the Cubans have a difficult fate, interspersed with struggle. The image is a great reminder not to give up, even if it seems like the darkest period of your life.
